I was brought to Marbella as a teenager by my Swedish family in 1973 and they still live here. I studied at the Swedish school in Fuengirola, and after that, thanks to my work, I had the opportunity to travel the world for several years.
Destiny brought me to Real Estate in the early 80´s and I have loved it ever since. I married a Spanish lawyer and formed a family, which was incompatible with having bosses, so I opened my own Real Estate office in Aloha Pueblo, Nueva Andalucia, (Marbella) in 1994.
My lifestyle is Spanish, enabling me to represent it to our foreign customers or to enjoy with the locals. In my free time, I enjoy country walks, reading and enjoying friends and family.
After having spent nearly all my adult life outside of Sweden, in places like Bulgaria and London, I finally found my dream place in Marbella, 18 years ago.
After 12 years of looking after my two children, I decided to start working again and was offered the job at Morback Properties. In the middle of the -80's I worked for a company selling Natural stones to various building projects in Sweden and England.
I found it easy adopting to selling properties as I can apply a lot of my knowledge from my building experience. I love the Spanish sun and lifestyle and enjoying the warm evenings in late autumn and spring.
Being the younger brother of Elisabeth, I share her time in Nueva Andalucia, apart from some periods running Real Estate Projects in Panama and Antigua & Barbuda.
Having been involved in Real Estate Development and management for several large developers and agencies since mid-1980s I really enjoy the challenges of planning, selling and executing projects as well as operating them. Feeling at a bit of an advantage, having spent so long time in the area which gives local knowledge and contacts. I would consider myself more as a partner of the client, making sure that they actually find what they are looking for and suits their requirements and expectations, rather than guiding them into something which happens to be available. Nothing better than a pleased client, whether seller, buyer or developer to recommend you for the long run relationship.
I am Spanish and grow up in Germany, studied and worked there. Lived more than 30 years in all there with an interwall of 10 years in Madrid. Worked in multinational German enterprises in Sales & Marketing. Life brought me to Marbella.
Don´t want to move from here. Here is the place where I will stay. Marbella is cosmopolitan and in the same way very Spanish. That mix make´s it! Adding the nice weather during the hole year is “perfect” for living here. Enjoying the country side – Mountains and the sea and also all the amenities of Marbella city.
